System Overview

The System Overview page is the first thing you see when Lumy opens. It answers one question: "Is my computer healthy, and what can I clean up?"

What you see

The dashboard is made of cards, each showing one piece of information:

Card What it shows
CPU & memory Your processor model and how much RAM is used vs. available
System disk Your main drive, with a colored ring showing how full it is
Drives Every drive, each with a ring (green = fine, amber = getting full, red = almost full)
Storage history A line chart of your used disk space over the last 30, 60, or 90 days
Recycle Bin How big it is and how many items it holds
Windows Temp How much space temporary files use
Browser cache Cache size for Edge, Chrome, Brave, Opera, and Firefox
Startup apps How many programs start with Windows
Restore points How many restore points exist and how much space they use
Storage activity Sizes of your Desktop, Downloads, Documents, Pictures, and Videos folders

What you can do

One-click cleanup

Click any cleanup card to start cleaning with a confirmation dialog and live progress:

  • Recycle Bin — empties the Recycle Bin (after confirming)
  • Windows Temp — removes temporary files
  • Crash Dumps / Logs — moves crash reports to the Recycle Bin

Cleanups ask for confirmation first. Even then, files are moved to the Recycle Bin — not permanently deleted — so you can still recover them if needed.

Refresh the data

Click Refresh (top-right) to recompute all the metrics. If a scan is taking too long, you can cancel it with the cancel button.

Open Startup apps in Windows

Click the Startup apps card to open Windows' own settings page, where you can turn startup programs on or off.

Explore a specific drive

Use the drive dropdown to see stats for one drive instead of the combined "All drives" view.

Change the history range

Use the 30 / 60 / 90 day selector to see a longer or shorter storage trend.

Tips

  • If a drive's ring is red, it's a good candidate for cleanup. Open Disk Usage to see exactly what's using the space.
  • The dashboard refreshes automatically when you open it. There is nothing to configure — it just works.
