History & Restore
History & Restore is your safety net. Every action the AI agent takes is recorded here, and you can undo any of them.
Think of this page as Lumy's "undo" button. If the agent moves, deletes, or renames something and you don't like the result, you can reverse it here.
How it's organized
The page has two panels:
- Left: Tasks. A task is one request you made (for example, "archive old PDFs"). Each task has a title, the folder it affected, and a timestamp.
- Right: Operations. A task contains one or more individual operations (for example, "create folder Archive-2024", "move file X to Archive-2024").
What you can do
Undo a single step
Click a task, then on the right click Restore on an individual operation to undo just that step.
Undo a whole task
Click Undo Task on a task to undo every operation in it at once.
Delete from history
Click Delete on an operation or task to remove it from the log.
Deleting from history does not undo the file action — the files stay wherever they were moved. It only removes the record.
Clear everything
Click Clear History (top-right) to wipe all history.
Clearing history is irreversible — the log cannot be brought back. Your files themselves are not deleted, though.
What happens to deleted files?
Deletions always go to the Recycle Bin, never permanent delete. So even if you forget to undo before clearing history, you can still recover your files from the Windows Recycle Bin.
Lumy uses the Recycle Bin rather than permanent delete — so "delete" really means "move to the Recycle Bin." You can always change your mind.
