Cleaning Options
WinSysClean is split into four cleaning areas. Each one has its own switches and its own safety rules.
- Windows Cleaning Options — Temp files, shortcuts, history, and Windows system junk.
- Browser Cleaning Options — Cache, cookies, and history for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, and Chrome.
- Registry Repair Options — Invalid registry entries that slow Windows down.
- Application Cleaner — Per-application cache and temporary files.
How a clean works
Every cleaning session runs in two phases:
- Scan: WinSysClean inspects your system and lists everything that is safe to remove. Nothing is deleted yet.
- Clean: you review the scan report, uncheck anything you want to keep, and confirm. Only then are the checked items removed.
Items WinSysClean is not sure about are skipped, not deleted. If something looks unsafe, it simply does not appear in the report.
Choosing what to clean
- Leave the default switches on — they are chosen for safety.
- Switch off anything you are unsure about. Cleaning less is always safer than cleaning too much.
- Use Default Settings from the menu to restore the safe defaults at any time.
Removed items are gone permanently. Files deleted from the temp folder and the Recycle Bin cannot be recovered. Browser cookies and history are also permanent once removed.
